A Garden-Inspired Wedding by the Water

Against the waterfront backdrop of Glen Island Harbour Club, Bridget and Arthur’s wedding unfolded in soft color and garden-grown texture—romantic, effortless, and just a little unexpected.

Bridget’s look set the tone. Her sculptural white gown was paired with an airy, all-white bouquet, loosely gathered with delicate stems extending beyond its silhouette. Around her, the bridesmaids wore individual shades and styles of sage green, each carrying a smaller garden-inspired arrangement. The effect was coordinated without feeling overly composed.

From there, color slowly entered the story.

Butter yellow, warm peach, coral and fresh green appeared among layers of white florals, giving the celebration a palette that felt more collected than prescribed. Meadow-like arrangements brought an almost wild softness to the ceremony, while the reception became warmer and more abundant—flowers spilling across the tables among glassware and candlelight, with smaller floral details appearing all the way down to the wedding cake.

Against Glen Island’s waterfront setting and old-world architecture, that looseness became part of what made the design feel so modern.
