PepsiCo Chairman's Circle of Champions Gala | Corporate Floral Design

Designing for PepsiCo's Chairman's Circle of Champions Gala

When a company brings together its most exceptional employees from around the world, the occasion deserves more than a beautiful room.

PepsiCo's Chairman's Circle of Champions Gala recognizes the people whose dedication, innovation, and accomplishments help drive the company's global operations. From safety and quality to service and sustainability, the celebration honors individuals whose contributions make a lasting impact on the organization.

For Monica Chimes Floral & X-Quisite Events, the opportunity was to translate that spirit of achievement into an atmosphere worthy of the people being celebrated.

Drawing inspiration from PepsiCo's recognizable colors, its Circle of Champions imagery, and the energy of the occasion, Monica developed a floral direction that was vibrant, expressive, and unmistakably celebratory.

Inspired by the People Behind the Brand

THE CREATIVE DIRECTION

The Circle of Champions' distinctive constellation of rising stars offered a meaningful starting point. Each star represents an individual achievement, while the circular formation brings those accomplishments together as part of something larger.

We carried that idea into the floral designs through varying heights, individual blooms, contrasting textures, and arrangements that moved outward and upward.

PepsiCo's familiar blues, reds, and oranges provided the color inspiration, while the company's Winning with pep+ vision brought another layer of meaning to the celebration. PepsiCo Positive places sustainability and people at the center of the company's long-term business strategy.

Rather than recreate the company's branding literally, we wanted the flowers to reflect its personality: energetic, forward-thinking, and full of life.

The Flowers Behind the Design

COLOR, TEXTURE & MOVEMENT

There is a particular challenge to designing with such a bold color palette. Every flower needs to contribute something without competing for attention.

For this collection, we brought together orange and coral ranunculus, roses, sculptural anthuriums, blue thistle, and copper-toned foliage. The orange blooms introduced warmth and energy, while the contrasting blue created an unexpected visual connection to PepsiCo's brand identity.

The flowers themselves also brought different personalities to the arrangements. The delicate layers of ranunculus softened the composition, while the glossy anthuriums and textured thistle added structure and dimension.

Copper foliage provided a finishing detail, introducing warmth and a subtle metallic quality that felt particularly appropriate for an evening dedicated to achievement.

Together, these elements created a collection that felt cohesive without looking uniform. Each arrangement had its own movement and character while remaining part of the larger design.

Bringing the Vision to Life

THE EVENT INSTALLATIONS

The transition from floral inspiration to a finished event is where scale, placement, and the surrounding environment begin to matter.

For the gala entrance, we created two large-scale greenery installations, layered with vibrant red and orange florals at varying heights. Sculptural anthuriums extended beyond the arrangements, while delicate trailing elements introduced movement against the greenery.

Positioned on either side of the entrance, the installations created a dramatic arrival experience, introducing guests to the celebration's floral identity before they reached the main event space.

Carefully positioned lighting brought additional dimension to the structures, illuminating the flowers and allowing the colors to stand out against the darker greenery.

A Different Perspective Inside the Gala

THE FINISHED CELEBRATION

As guests moved into the reception, the same vibrant palette continued throughout the space, creating a visual connection between the entrance, lounge areas, and guest tables.

The centerpieces brought the floral direction into a more intimate setting, combining clustered blooms with taller, expressive stems. The balance of height and openness allowed each arrangement to have presence while keeping the tables welcoming for conversation.

Under the ballroom's blue and violet lighting, the orange and coral flowers took on an entirely different character. Their warmth became more pronounced, while the turquoise accents and blue thistle provided contrast.

Quieter floral accents in white and deeper tones introduced another layer to the overall environment, allowing the larger, more colorful arrangements to remain the focal point.

From the initial floral presentation to the completed installations, the design evolved with the space while maintaining the same visual identity.

An Occasion Worth Celebrating

The Chairman's Circle of Champions is ultimately about people — the individuals whose work, commitment, and achievements contribute to something much larger than themselves.

For Monica, that purpose shaped the floral design from the beginning.

The vibrant colors, individual textures, and expressive arrangements came together to create a setting that celebrated achievement while remaining connected to PepsiCo's identity.

It was a pleasure to contribute to an occasion recognizing the people behind the brand, and to bring that celebration to life through flowers.
